Local trips usually require around 30% of the total to confirm your place. International packages need a 30% deposit at booking with the balance due 21 to 30 days before departure, because flights and visas need lead time.
M-Pesa Paybill, card payments, and direct bank transfer. You can pay a deposit now and the balance later, and for group trips we accept instalments up to the departure date.
Yes, and most of our group travellers do. You share a twin room with a traveller of the same gender unless you pay the single supplement, and a group facilitator travels with every departure.
Cancel more than 30 days before departure and your deposit transfers to any future trip. Between 30 and 14 days, 50% is transferable. Inside 14 days, deposits are non-refundable because accommodation and park fees are already committed. Written cancellations only.
Yes — it is a large part of what we do. Tell us your dates, budget, group size and interests and we will design an itinerary around them, whether that is a family safari, a honeymoon, or a company retreat.
We strongly recommend it for every trip and it is mandatory for Mount Kenya treks and all international packages. Zanzibar additionally requires its own inbound insurance policy, which we will point you to.
Most Nairobi departures pick up from the CBD and one or two agreed points along the route. We confirm exact pickup points and times in your joining pack two days before departure.
Most are. Safaris and beach trips work well for all ages and children under 12 pay reduced park rates. Mount Kenya and grade-five rafting have minimum age limits. Tell us your group's ages and we will advise.
Group departures run on minimum numbers. In the rare case a departure does not reach its minimum, we offer you the next date, an alternative trip, or a full refund — your choice.
